Product care instructions

Proper care and maintenance of your handmade scrunchies are essential to ensure their longevity and keep them looking their best. Follow these care instructions to preserve the quality and appearance of your scrunchies:

1. Handwashing

To clean your handmade scrunchies, it is recommended to handwash them using mild detergent and lukewarm water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or bleach, as they can damage the fabric and colors.

2. Gently Squeeze

After washing, gently squeeze out excess water from the scrunchies. Avoid wringing or twisting them, as this can cause the fabric to lose its shape and elasticity.

3. Air Drying

Allow the scrunchies to air dry naturally. Avoid using a dryer or exposing them to direct sunlight, as this can fade the colors and weaken the fabric.

4. Storage

When not in use, store your handmade scrunchies in a clean and dry place. Avoid storing them in humid or damp areas, as this can promote the growth of mold or mildew.

5. Avoid Excessive Stretching

Avoid stretching the scrunchies excessively, as this can cause the elastic to lose its elasticity over time. Instead, gently stretch them to fit your hair without putting too much strain on the fabric.

Satin pillowcase care instructions

Step 2: Sorting

Separate your handmade satin pillowcase from other laundry items to prevent any potential damage or snagging. It is recommended to wash your pillowcase separately or with similar delicate fabrics to avoid friction.

Step 3: Pre-Treatment

If there are any visible stains on your handmade satin pillowcase, it is advisable to pre-treat them before washing. Gently dab a small amount of mild detergent or stain remover onto the stained area and let it sit for a few minutes.

Step 4: Machine Settings

Set your washing machine to a delicate or gentle cycle with cold water. Avoid using hot water as it can cause the satin fabric to shrink or lose its luster. Additionally, select a low spin speed to minimize any potential damage.

Step 5: Detergent Selection

Choose a mild detergent specifically formulated for delicate fabrics. Avoid using bleach or harsh chemicals as they can weaken the fibers and affect the color of your handmade satin pillowcase.

Step 6: Washing

Place your handmade satin pillowcase into the washing machine and close the lid. Allow the machine to complete the cycle, ensuring that the pillowcase is thoroughly cleaned.

Step 7: Drying

After the washing cycle is complete, remove your handmade satin pillowcase from the machine promptly. Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric, as this can cause wrinkles or damage. Instead, gently pat the pillowcase with a clean towel to remove excess water.

Step 8: Air Drying or machine dry

It is best to air dry your handmade satin pillowcase to preserve its quality and prevent any potential shrinkage. Lay the pillowcase flat on a clean, dry towel or hang it on a clothesline away from direct sunlight or heat sources.

Step 9: Ironing

If necessary, you can lightly iron your handmade satin pillowcase on a low heat setting. Ensure that the iron is set to the appropriate temperature for satin fabric and use a pressing cloth to protect the surface.

By following these care instructions, you can keep your handmade satin pillowcase looking and feeling luxurious for years to come. Remember to always refer to the care label or any specific instructions provided by the manufacturer for the best results.
